I didn't see it, but apparently she thought he was disrespectful to her when he co-hosted with her. He put his hand over her mouth during one of the interviews. I'm sure it was ment to be funny, but I guess we would have to see it to know the whole story.

Kelly Ripa was conducting her interview with Emmit Smith and Sheryl (dancing with the stars), and Kelly Ripa was asking several questions and I'm assuming Clay wanted to ask of few of his own so he put his hands over her mouth, and she had said that "that's a no-no" and that "she doesn't know where his hands have been". I think this is all blown out of porportion, yes it was wrong for Clay to invade Kellys personal space she was just doing her job and I'm sure she would've gave him a chance to speak. But Kelly took it to the heart and it wasn't that big of a deal. Then this Rosie thing made it worse for both Kelly and Clay. I don't think it had anything to do with being gay, and Kelly didn't say anything in regards to that. And saying that it was only makes it harder for Clay. If he is gay that's his business no one elses. But Kelly had never said anything about him being gay.

Regis was off, so Clay was Kelly's cohost for the day. Kelly, being her normal bubbly self, would not shut up when talking to Mario Lopez and his . So Clay got extremely disrespectful, and put his hand over her mouth. She got upset and said something along the lines of, "I don't know where that's been."
Then Rosie took it to be a homophobic remark on the View, to which Kelly called in and straightened it out. She believes he only did it because she's a woman, and she only said that because he was out in the audience beforehand.

Emmett Smith (the winner from Dancing with the Stars) and his partner we're on Regis and Kelly's show (Clay was taking Regis' place). Kelly WOULD JUST NOT SHUT UP, finally Clay got so tired of trying to get a word in but not being able to that he just put his hand over her mouth. Boy she got hot, roflmao.

Clay was trying to do his job of co-host but Kelly wouldn't let him speak. So he covered her mouth. I don't think he did it to be rude I think he did it in fun but she took offense (and I guess I don't blame her). It only went to far when Rosie had to get her mouthy piece of the action and some how Rosie decided that this was all done to go against gays. Rosie take a pill and relax, mind your own business and show (oops that is why you lost your show)..

I just watched that Clay was kinda rude...but Kelly just never shuts up. I don't blame him next time he should bring tape and a sock...then he will be able to get a word in.

They were doing an interview and Clay put his hand over Kelly's mouth. She told him not to do that because she didn't know where his hand had been. It was on aol.coms home page.

Go to Yahoo video, and look it up. Clay did nothing inappropriate whatsoever. It was very clear that he was kidding around. I don't know if she was hormonal on that day, but she was acting like a spoiled brat.

Well, I guess Clay shouldn't have "shushed" her in that manner, but she is inclined to hog the show, and I think she is over reacting to the incident.
