Yes. I'm gay and my best friend of 30 years isn't, but people think we are lovers or exes or at least that she is gay, too.

Yes, all the time. Most of my friends are male. So, when we go out people always assume I am "with" one or more of them. Even some of my other friends sometimes. I also had a big issue with a girlfriend of one of my friends. She thought I was trying to steal him away etc. We had been friends for 6 years. If I had wanted him I would have had him before now! :P

I'm always misinterpreted by others. I find myself going back and explaining myself....as to what I meant to say or why I did something....my co-workers are catching on.

yes i have and i do. my ex best friend who was cheating on her husband with someone from her nursing class.....thinks that her husband and i have been having an affair. i am married also and the only service i was preforming for her man was being a friend for him while she messed around on him. that is what 10 years of friendship gets ya. diddly squat

my brother is always misinterpreted by others to be what he is not. but because i was close to him, i realise he is a nice dude.
thing is, interpretations are subjective.
