I guess it depends a little on how you rank most popular.
If you go by shear volume of unit sales I believe the Playstation 3 is at a disadvantage due to the scarce supply. Also given the high price points, and I know most peole say the 500/600 dollar price tag still wont deter consumers, it will deter gramma putkins from ponying up for a PS3 if she can find one.
So by volume I think 360 will slightly edge out Wii, primarily due to the fact that 360 has a year edge on library against both the PS3 and Wii. although wii's combination of Nintendo Licensed titles, the unique nature of the system and its most friendly price point will see healthy sales.
If you rate ratio of units available to units sold, Playstation 3 will probally knock that one out of the ballpark, probally selling close to 100% of the units available through the season, but again alot of this will be accounted for backordered pre sales and gamers buying it for themselve. I just dont roll with the Rockefellers myself, so I am skeptical that the $600 machine will be a high "gift" item for anyone other than oneself.

X-box 360, Wii, PlayStation. i put them in that order because the parents will be buying for Christmas and the cheaper is more appealing. The Wii lost out because it was released late and not popularized via the kids nagging. The PS3 will definitely come is last. the xbox and the Wii are debatable.

Probably the Wii, it is the cheapest and more appealing for parents to buy for their kids. The Playstation 3 is probably second, but im sure a lot of parents dont want to shell out that much money for their kid. Lastly xbox 360, i see a bunch on store shelves now, and i see a lot of them staying there.

one thing 4 sure, the Xbox 360 is the least popular on your list but the PS3 and WII(i want the WII!!!!!!)is challenging for the tittle of being the most bought game system this year.
