I usually go to a nail salon to get my nails done, but I'm short on money and want my nails do look good for thanksgiving when I see my family. I'm going to just probably buy some glue-on ones from the store... I hate doing it though, cause they always fall off after a day or two...does anyone know of a good way to keep them on longer? a strong(er) glue? thanks

The Kiss brand nails stay on very well. They sell them at Walgreen's and at Walmart for about 5 bucks. I have used them several times for the same reason as you've stated. The key to success is to make sure that your nails are clean (free from lotions, etc.) and "roughed up" a little bit. Use a big flat emery board to rough up your nails a LITTLE bit and polish remover to clean your nails before you put them on. They worked for me. Also, the french pedicure toenails that press on look like you spent 50 bucks on a fancy pedicure to match your fancy manicure. You can get a box that has both in it for about 6 or 7 dollars. Sounds cheesy, but you'll be surprised at how many complements you will get. If it makes you feel safer. Keep the little tube of glue in your pocket in case of an emergency.

use super glue--it works--
when they do fall off or you take them off, you just have to chip at the glue until it all comes off--there are some real good looking press on nails out there, but i agree, the glue that comes with them--do not work-- try the super glue--Have a Great Thanksgiving--

The only way to keep those nails on is to not use your hands.

Spend the $25 and get the nails fixed. You will not regret it.

I am not sure of a stronger glue. You might just want to get a manicure instead. It is cheaper.
