She is now 17 she is my friend and she wrote in a letter that her brother sexualley abuse her since she was 12?but she afraid of her brother?she live in honea pathe in SC,Can her brother arrest for this?can i produced this letter .i am not a US citizen

I wrote a paper about this whole topic in college and I got an A and I will tell you not only from my own experience, but also from the research i did for this paper. It is a fact that there are harsher penalties for abusing animals then for incest sex abuse. If you abuse a child that is not related, it is more serious in a court of law, but if you are related, they do not do much. You would be in more trouble if you abused an animal. That is a fact! Look it up. Make sure you look up incest sex abuse, not just child sex abuse. There should be stricter laws on sex abuse but I guess animals are far more important.

You can encourage her to contact the police and she can press charges... especially if she's scared of him. The abuse is not her fault and if he abused her, he has probably abused other girls so she could be saving some other girl by reporting her brother to the police. The most important thing is for her to know it's not her fault and she's not alone. It's a horrible (but important) battle that she must fight. The best thing you can do is encourage her to find a therapist who can help her.

yes he will get arrested if over the age of 18 when this went on but i suggest you give it to someone who is a citizen.
