Well, when I was pregnant with my son I also had a very itchy belly and it drove me crazy. The best advice I can give you is to just keep your body (especially the itchy spots) clean and apply lots of lotion. It is better to use a body wash that contains moisturizers that won't dry out your skin and maybe some good ol' fashioned cocoa butter or what ever lotion you prefer. That should help a little with your itching problem. That's just me speaking from experience though.

Cocoa butter can actually be very irritating to the skin (little known fact).. so be careful with that if you have sensative skin. A Mild moisturizer will do the trick.. you should know that stretch marks have been proven to be hereditary, and no amount of product can stop them..and scratching wont cause them or worsen them. There are products that can lighten them after the fact though.

I would put lotion on ur belly and where ever it itches. it helps ease the need to itch. i also heard scratching causes stretch marks but i dont really believe it. i got a few stretch marks and i didnt scratch. and i would also try to pat or rub instead of itching.

Avoid hot showers and baths, which can dry out your skin and make the itching worse. Use mild soap and be sure to rinse it off well and towel off lightly. Then slather on an unscented moisturizer — some scents can cause irritation.

Try an occasional warm oatmeal bath. (You can buy oatmeal bath preparations in drugstores - Aveno has a great one.) Wear loose cotton clothing and avoid going out in the heat of the day, since heat can intensify the itching

Put some cocoa butter on the itchy spots. It should stop the itch and help prevent stretch marks.

Get ahold of some cocoa butter and massage it into your breasts and belly, this will reduce the itchyness and help you get less stretch marks by moisturizing your skin and allowing it to stretch more. Oh and by the way....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Try some vitamin E cream or Apricot oil. It sounds like your poor skin is stretching, and these creams can help.

stetch marks arent caused by itching or scratching your skin-- they are caused from your skin 'stetching' very quickly.... hence why they are called STRETCH marks and not ITCH marks... for the itching-- just make sure you use plenty of lotion on your skin and keep drinking lots of water.. keep yourself and your skin very hydrated.

maybe rubbing aloe vera on it, or cocca butter lotion, which i heard you should use anyway for helping prevent stretch marks. but definetly check w/doc or ask a pharmacist. hope you feel better.
