Everyone has an accent. ITs just that, if you sound a bit different from the usual tone in your area, people would say you have an accent (refereing to it being different than usual).
But dont worry about it, dont hide. Be happy with who u are, and also, you are unique this way if it is different than usual.
I have a mixed accent, of American, british, west indian and pakistani. So my accent doesnt really belong to anywhere. But people like it, as its unique and stands out.

of course I have an accent.
American, Southern and Floridian. Pensacola doesn't really have an officially label accent because the NAVY base brings families in from all over so the accent is low key....but Pensacola is awfully close to Mobile, so the blend over is there.

everyone has one to someone from another country silly....you say you don't have an accent but try telling that to someone who does not sound like you and to them YOU have the accent. Even people in the USA have different accents from different regions......and why in the heck does it matter as long as you are a nice person.

It's a matter of perspective. To you, I may have an accent, but to me you may have an accent. The exception would be if we both had the same accent.

Why lord, honey child, I have worst southern drawl, you would ever want to hear....I get made fun of all the time. People from the north usually crack up laughing and can't undersatnd what I am trying to say....but when I was younger, some "Yankee" guys thought it was sexy, like Scarlett O'Hara....

yes I sound like an American and even though I'll not support the present administration for it's criminal activities and unscrupulous ways I'm still proud of my home .

everyone finds it amazing that i have an accent cuz im puerto rican. i have a hard time struggling with the r's.

I'm from Alabama,and my friends are all from the city, they love the way I sound, but I don't think I sound funny.
