those who are trying to disrupt others lives are really unhappy with their own lives and are trying to find an escape from their own misery

I'll be more objective and see what the purpose is. If the dirt picked up only serves to discredit someone with a suspicious purpose more than its apparent purpose of "showing the world the truth", i think that's downright despicable. It has a lot to depend on who is doing that, at what time and what place, and more importantly his/her influence and impact.

I believe there are instances where digging up the truth on anyone is fine......ie. you wouldn't want a thief to run a bank or a pretender to pilot a passenger plane.... I also appreciate background checks for people who would handle sensitive materials or potential law inforcement individuals......BUT....there are limits on access to personal info that must stay in place.....

The legitimate access to information is fine with me......

I have a sister like that. I think it's immature and disrespectful. Isn't there enough hate in the world? Who has time for it? But for some twisted reason, it brings her pleasure. How sad.

They are interesting to me.. I mean what kinda life are they leading that they have that much time to be interested in someone elses life. It takes quite some effort.

they are your very own "history book", they remind you of your wrong doings in the past, so you might learn from them and become a better person in the future.
