This is the curse of our modern society, i really felt it as i read your Q. I have an uneducated theory, that sais give in to it, the regret only gets worse......Unexpressed emotions get inherited by our children... this goes for sexual issues double........ You may explore staying in your confinement but try doing things a little more expressive of how you feel....... shock people..... but hey i am only 32 and not sure this advice is good,,,,,,,,just a theory,,,,,,,

Living a moral life is nothing to regret about! Who knows but that you may be carrying around unpleasant diseases if you did live a life of debauchery- and maybe even dead by now. Regrets are natural but know that a moral life is meaningful and it was worth it.

That said, one should always take some risks in life, but you can and should stay true to your morals taking these risks. Go skydiving or bungee jumping, they can make you feel alive without too much risk or moral repercussions.

I have felt that way, and from time to time i let go. The key here is balance. Some indulgence every now and then can really help you enjoy and appreciate all that you have.

Too much of anything is bad for you.

You don't have to suddenly become the Marquis de Sade, but you can still behave badly....go ahead, live a little. The death bed is no place for regrets.
