ok, so i have been trying to get pregnant now for 3 yrs. i know one of the reasons is b/c i dont have very good fertile mucus. i read that women who have this prob can have a procedure done where the sperm is injected into the cervix without coming into contact with the mucus that is harmful. I was actually thinking about waiting until i ovulate and have my husband "inject" me with his semen. not really inject, just get a syringe( no needle) and put it next to my cervical opening, but not actually into my cervix.( that would hurt!) a friend of mine did that once and she got pregnant the 1st time. i bought a thing they use for a papsmear online(forceps or something). i read that when having this procedure done it gives the sperm a little"boost" and they dont have far to travel. what do you think?

I suppose that would work. The product you purchased was a speculum by the way.

I would be concerned he would poke me with the syringe though (even without the needle)

I think this sounds dodgy and you could get an infection. I would go to your doctor and/or a fertility specialist naturopath.
Good luck
