I am a shopaholic and yes, shopping on that day is worth it, if it's just walking around the mall. However, if you're referring to shopping at the major stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, Staples, Walmart, etc., then that's different. I did my early morning shopping for the first time a couple of years ago and that was crazy. I thought getting to the store around opening time would be alright, but it wasn't! You have to get there and wait in line way before the doors open in order to get anything and now a days, since it's getting crazier and crazier, you need to camp out there to get anything "good". I used to be into it, but it just seems silly to wake up SO early in the morning to go shopping and end up with nothing good because it will be all gone before 6AM, which is why it's not worth it! I'm so NOT a morning person. So, that makes it even worse!

living in Europe, there are extensive sales (as much as 70% savings) a minimum of two circumstances a three hundred and sixty 5 days (January and July). and rather with the present economic challenge many shops are additionally offering intermittent "specific" sales (from 20 to 50% off) for one in each of those motives (they might cite to adapt with limitless regulations, i've got have been given been on the spot). So I extremely have actual no could choose to sally forth on those 2 specific procuring days. I had by utilising no capacity even heard of "Black Friday" until very final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, around Thanksgiving time, and initially thought it had to do with conflict remembrance or something the two grave.

Absolutely not. I went to the Mall 7 yrs ago on "Black Friday" and I swore I would never do that again.
I try to go during the week when most people are busy at work or in the evenings when people are home with their families.

My husband thought it would be good to go one year...an unknown amount of time later, he gave up when a little kid kicked him in the privates for picking up the last of a certain toy. I don't think I have ever seen grown women become rabid and foam at the mouth like that...it's nuts!!(eerr.....no pun intended haha!!)
I will hit a few after Christmas sales, and I shop through out the year.

I tried it last year. Just about everything I saw on sale, I knew would be on sale for cheaper, at the end of the season. so no, not really worth getting up so early.

Not to me. The amount I might save is far outweighed by the aggravation. However, if money was tighter or I had ninja skills, I might be brave enough to give it a go.

No. Way. In. Hell. I would rather have you stick splinters under my fingernails! I would rather eat poo! I'd rather watch a Star Trek marathon! (Unless Target has a bangin' sale, of course.)

Yeah, you get cheap stuff and punch old ladies in the face (accidentally or not), it's a win-win situation.
