File on your insurance and sue the company. Make the company pay for services up front and get a letter from them stating that any other expenses will be taken care of. Get a lawyer and do not settle for the first offer. It is agianst the law for them not to have comp insurance so they could looses the business also

Get a lawyer because they have to pay if you get paid by check in most states. But I dont know about texas. I would consult a lawyer to see what your employers responsibility is.
