its natural for your face/skin to excrete natural oils called sebum. to prevent it from being too oily stay away from oily food. use a toner/astringent at night after washing it. during the day use a oil removing paper/film. this way you are getting rid of excess oils without piling on makeup. plus you need to avoid keeping skin oils on your sponges, brushes and the surfaces of pressed powede, blush and eyeshadow because it can easily keep and breed bacteria.

First off make sure that you are using a moisurizer. Many people think that because they have oily skin that they don't need to use it, but your skin only gets oily trying to moisturize itself; therefore using a moisturizer like Clean snd Clear (that's what I use every day after washing my face) will likely decrease the amount of oil your skin produces.
On the go I would suggest oil blotting papers. I like them because they fit into a purse easily, won't take off makeup, and aren't very expensive.

You need to use a cleanser and moisturizer that is designed for oily skin so as to help prevent it. Then you would also want to use an "oil mattifier." It dries up the oil without drying out your skin, at the same time, it shrinks of your pores.

The products I recommend are from Mary Kay. Please see the website if you would like more information.

i don't know about other products, but Mary Kay has this amazing product called Oil Mattifier. You put it on before your makeup like a moisturizer, and it kind of "sops up" oil on your face. Especially the T-zone. You can put your foundation right on top of it. There is also a product called Eye Primer that you put on your eye lids before applying eye shadow, and it will help your shadow to not crease, or rub off.

The last option is to use oil blotting papers.
