It depends on what kind of relationship you have with this girl. But come to think of it, no person would want to hear someone epecially from the opposite sex that they smell. It would be downright embarrassing.
However, someone has to tell her.
My advice is maybe you can send her a letter anonymously. But make sure that it's not handwritten lest she might recognize your penmanship. Or maybe handwritten will still work EXCEPT it has to be written by someone whose handwriting she will not recognize.
Start the letter with a sincere tone. You can start with the following wordings:
(Person's name),
Before proceeding with this, I would just like to let you know that I mean really well with this letter so I hope you are not going to take it as a personal attack on you.
You are my friend and for the sake of any future embarrassment on your part and mine as well, I am going to keep my identity unknown to you....

yes it is bad, you are probably not the person to do it.
If you go to school together, maybe drop a note to the school guidance councellor, asking her/him to address the problem.
You could be real nice and buy her some good strong smelling perfume for Christmas.
It also may not be her fault. My sister used to smoke like a chimney and when I would leave the house, after a fresh shower, and go to my friend's house, her husband asked if I smoked. NOT MY FAULT...
I have a friend, his mother had terminal cancer while he was a young boy. She was not able to take proper care of him, wash his clothes, remind him to bathe...she was too sick and the money was extremely tight. He even went to bed hungry. He was teased for smelling bad...IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT...
There are also people that have certain diseases that cause odor that cannot be helped...NOT THEIR FAULT.
So give the girl some slack, if you are a real friend. Give her some Bath & Bodyworks stuff.

I have the same problem, a girl I work with every day, stinks!! She has REALLY bad B.O. I know it is hard to gather up the courage to tell the person, but they really need to know! It would be for his/her good because its pretty likely that other people are talking about her behind her back. You should tell her, but not in a mean way. GOOD LUCK!

...... for starter's, chuck the word's, stink, bad, horrible, and smell's, in the rubbish bin.... They're definitely a bad choice of word's, if your'e trying to give helpful advice to someone.... Quietly and thoughtfully tell her, that she need's to shower daily, because other people are beginning to talk unkindly about her, every time she turn's her back.... Let her know, that if she does'nt do something about it,.. she's going to end up being targeted by bully's,... and then she's really going to end up with problems.... Be thoughtful in the way you tell her, and hopefully this will save her from future strife from other's..... Your'e a good dude , if you can help this person out brother..... Good on yuh!...

purely purely tell them they have undesirable breath. Say something alongside the strains of " Pardon me for asserting so yet you have undesirable breath". of direction time and place makes a extensive distinction. those concerns are ultimate mentioned in private one on one. If accomplished properly they are going to probably thank you. then you somewhat recognize you the two experience good approximately it. i might in basic terms say this to a chum because of the fact except it completely gaged me and that i could no longer stay away from it i would not hassle. Its what buddies do, tell one yet another the certainty.

yes. you should probably approach it with more sensitivity than, " you smell horrible." Are you dating? What is the context?

It's not nice to be so direct. If you have to then tell her in a more subtle way like "Do you wear perfume?" or "have you seen a doctor regarding your condition?" and then take it from there.
