eBay offers Basic and Enhanced Picture Services, enabling you to easily add pictures to your listing. Picture Services will host your pictures for the duration of your listing. You can also use your Web hosting service.
Macintosh users with any browser will need to use eBay Basic Picture Services, enabling you to upload pictures to eBay, but does not offer more advanced photo editing.
Windows users with Internet Explorer 5.0 or later can use Enhanced eBay Picture Services. It enables you to crop and rotate your pictures from the selling form.
Basic Uploader
Use eBay Picture Services. eBay will store and display your pictures for your listings. The Basic Uploader can be used on all the supported operating system and browser configurations. The Basic Uploader does not compress pictures before upload. Upload time depends on the size of your originals and the speed of your Internet connection.
Click the Browse buttons to select the pictures you want to upload from your computer.
A dialogue box displays, enabling you to navigate to folders containing pictures.
Click the picture file you want, then click the OK or Open button.
Enhanced Uploader
If you are using Windows 98SE and Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, you can use the eBay Enhanced Uploader.
Click the Add Pictures button in the Enhanced Uploader window.
A dialogue box will display, enabling you to navigate to the folder of pictures you want to upload.
Select the picture files you want to upload and click the OK or Open button. The Enhanced Uploader window will display thumbnail versions of all the pictures you selected for upload.
You can crop, rotate, and adjust the brightness and contrast before uploading by clicking a thumbnail to select a picture and then using the controls above the large picture preview.
