Edith Hamilton's 'Mythology' is an excellent source for Greco-Roman myths. It also has some stuff about Norse mythology It's a good-sized book, too....not just some little picturebook.

There's a big, seven pound, book called the Mythologica or something of that sort but I don't have it on hand to check the title. Quite a bit of it is on Roman and Greek Mythology.

Bulfinch's Mythology is the definitive book. You can download it from Gutenberg.com, manybooks.net, or etext.virginia.edu/ebooks/ for free!

Another one is Edith Hamilton's Mythology

"Mythology" is the usual textbook for greek pantheon studies in universities and colleges nationwide.
