Interestingly enough, IQ does not increase with age. This is because IQ is a standardized measurement of intelligence that is relative to your age group. This means that an infant can have a higher IQ than a college-educated adult. Amazing!
Perhaps you are trying to determine at what point our mental development has its greatest potential. The plasticity of the brain may be a lifelong phenomenon, but we can probably assume that our potential for mental development is likely reached by the time we are teenagers, when the brain has completed its neurological development.
However, there is more to intelligence than neurological development. There are many studies (such as the one listed in my source) that have shown IQ can be increased through experience and training, and one could imagine this as a lifelong endeavor. What environmental factors may affect intelligence is somewhat controversial and debated. The most substantial methods appear to function during childhood, including nutrition, and the absence of exposure to neurologically-damaging substances like lead.
As adults, factors such as exposure to more complex and intellectually stimulating environments and new and different experiences, such as performing difficult and varying mental tasks, or having a complex occupation may help increase IQ.
I am curious why you might want to boost your IQ. Increased IQ has not been statistically demonstrated to result in greater happiness or wealth. In fact, many might suggest that ignorance is bliss.
Perhaps you shouldn't try to boost a thing. ;-)

Actually, it depends more on how you stimulate your mind rather than your age. When I was 13 I tested at 119. When I was 16 I tested at 124. If you want to increase your intelligence quotient, then you have to avoid pointless programs on television such as South Park, Beavis and Butthead, Family Guy, etc... Your brain activity is very low when you watch television. Easy ways to increase your brain's potential would include reading, playing video games, and even thinking --- Just thinking. Sit there and think. It's a great mental exercise.
Reading is a pointless method if you're not a visual reader. Many people aren't visual readers, and that's why the vast majority of Americans don't like to read. The average I.Q. for Americans is 98. 100 is the average I.Q. For the entire population of the Earth. Therefore, America is dumb by Earth's standards. We still beat Canada, which sits at 97.
I digress. To put it simply, visual readers are people with good imaginations. There are exercises to become a visual reader, the most popular being the peg word method, but I won't get into that.
When I said video games, I didn't mean Call of Duty or Halo or Battlefield. Play games that make you think. If you do choose to play the games I just mentioned, then play on a higher difficulty level. That way you'll be forced to use strategy. Games where you have to solve puzzles are the best.

IQ decreases with age usually, but it doesn't mean you're getting dumber. Intelligence quotient, as measured by Stanford-Binet =
your mental age divided by your real age. So, if you are 4 years old but you have the intelligence of the average six year old, your IQ is 150. by the time you are ten you have to have the intelligence of the average 15 year old to keep the score of 150.
The problem is, after college, there isn't an appreciable difference between the average intelligence of say a 30 year old and a 35 year old. (Avg intelligence is measured by getting questions on a standardized test right or wrong.) Pretty much what you know at 35 you also knew at 30. What you know at 80 you probably knew at 60. To be 60 and score a 150, you'd have to have the intelligence of the average 90 year old, etc. Therefore, IQ is not a reliable indicator of intelligence after a child reaches college-age.
if you want to raise your IQ--READ, do brain teasers, play learning games like scrabble. And quit watching all that tv. You may not change your score, but you'll feel smarter.

RE:
Does your IQ increase with age?
If so, at what age does your IQ start to level off? And what are ways to boost my IQ before that?

Nope IQ stays the same throughout your whole life and doesn't get any higher. The only thing you gain is knowledge. Think of you IQ as a box the box doesn't get any bigger but as time goes on you can fill it with things ( knowledge) which can make the box look fancy or seem bigger but in all reality it stays the same size.

no. if you take a home iq test, or one online, it takes into account your age, so if you answer the questions right the in the same time as someone half your age, you are going to recieve a lower score.

no it gets lower as you get older
IQ = 100 * MA/CA
ma = mental age = how old your test score says you are
ca = chronological age = how old you really are
statisticlly your IQ will go down as you get older...and it levels off at about 18...but its not for sure
