My husband and I have 2 children together and we are wanting another one, okay here is the problem...With my first (daughter) it was easy didn't have any drugs with labor and delivery and it only took me alittle over 5 hours to have her with no pain meds, my second (son) same it was easy no meds for anything and I had him in about 2 hours....well I am scared that if we become pregnant again that I am going to have the child too soon in the labor and delivery room that it will be bad for my health, or since I have never been in labor and delivery for no more then 5 1/2 hours that the next time is going to be a nightmare or happen too fast and be a threat to my health, I asked my doctor at my pre-pregnancy check-up and she said it wasn't a threat, but alot of other people tell me different. I am scared. Help!!!!

i say dont worry about it. when you worry to much it brings stress and then stress reduces your chances of becoming pregnant. if you really want another child try not to worry because that is what im pretty sure that kept me from conceiving when me and hubby tried. this time im letting god take hand (if you dont belive in god then let nature take her hand) sit back and have fun!

Some people have fast labor.. it's not really a threat to your health though. If you are a stay at home mom I would advice you teach your oldest to dial the hospital or your husband or someone in case of an emergency... feel free to call 911 for help with a home delivery if necessary.

It dont sound like a threat, and you may want to listen to your doctor she knows what she is talking about, if you truly want a child than you should go for it and in the labor and delievery they will definatly take care of you so there is no reason to be scared.

I had my 2nd child in the triage room, because I felt such pressure as soon as I got to the floor they didn't have time to find me a room. And my water had only broke 20 mins. earlier! But I am pregnant w/ my 3rd & my OB told me just to get to the hospital asap or if it stresses me they could induce at 36 weeks

dont be scared, if you worry your self too much about what may happen, you can go crazy, just relax and enjoy your pregnancy and hope for the best.
