Two Ideas that work...If the traditional fever reducers aren't working...
#1. if child is calm and still, undress down to diaper, place 1st plastic bag to protect furniture, 2nd damp towel, then lay child on towel and cover with another damp towel, (Maybe even ice)
I have seen this work.
#2. Find Peppermint oil, (sold in candy dept. of grocery store) no kidding put ONLY A COUPLE DROPS (2-3) in bathwater DO NOT GET IN EYES! This will bring fever down! Had this one work too! Good Luck!!
Another good thing to know, you Can give doses of Tylenol (acetaminophen) & Motrin (ibuprophin) and Aleve(Can't recall) with out danger, try one if that doesn't work try the next. A fever can be extreemly dangerous if these don't work, get child to emergency room quick!!

Alternate with Tylenol and Motrin.. every three hours... if it gets really bad take him to the ER!! There is no way to cure a cold... you can put on a humidifier and lay off the milk for a few days.. Dairy sometimes makes mucous worse... Call and ask to talk to a nurse at the hospital...

well there is no cure for the common cold. but you can get a fever down either by giving him baby advil. or putting him in a tub of tepid (not to hot not to cold) water. try the baby advil it can be found over the counter at any store

Tylenol infant drops. If it's scary high, like 104, go to the emergency room. There should be an on call doctor you can at least talk to! If not, time to find a new one.

the baby needs lots of fluids, but not just water. the baby needs pedialyte, it has electrolytes in it that are lost while having a fever. hope he feels better.

Childrens tylenol. Try popsicles if that don't work. My daughter loved that. Cools them down from the inside and they love the taste.
