I have this freind that i've known since kindergarden, and im now in 9th grade; and over the years, especially over the previous summer, shes changed alot. She turned gothic, and changed most of her freinds completly. Were still friends but we don't seem really close anymore, shes more perverted and depressed over the smallest things, yet happy the next moment. She aslo talks about sex 24/7. Should i tell her that it bothers me when she talks about that stuff, or keep quiet. I'm only asking this because we used to be BFF's.

Thanks for any answers :)

If she's your friend for so long then you should be able to sit down with her and have a talk about each others likes and dislikes. In all honesty however, friends come and go. And now (high school) is when you start to see everyone starting to branch out and going through different phases. It's a part of life. Some time apart might be healthier for you. I'm not telling you stop being her friend completely, but you should diversify your circle of friends and try to find people who have similar interests as you. I've had a bests friends from elementary school right through high school and since we graduated we all developed our own interests and just drifted apart. It hurts, but like I said before; it's apart of life.

Well maybe just tell her what's bothering you, and if she has a problem, then I guess you will just have to find a few new friends that have the same interests as you. It is not fair to you to have to be listenng to that stuff. And if you guys are BFF's then she should understand.

You should not tell her directly as this may hurt her feelings. You could let her know by writing her a letter and put it under her desk. Tell her how much she has changed and most importantly, how nice she used to be and tell her that you would still like to be her friend.
