Hi Marlo, I'm not sure of you have tried the product Bio-oil as you don't say, but it really helped me. I have very large hips and I'm a larger girl so I have quite large breasts. I had large purple-pink stretch marks all over my hips and coming down towards my thighs, and on my breasts. I used Bio-oil when I first started noticing these marks as they really bothered me. In a few months they had all faded to a pale silver or were completely gone. I don't use Bio-oil anymore, as I have no more stretch marks, but as soon as I notice anymore I'll use it again. I love Bio-oil and plus, it smells really delicious, a bit like cinnamon buns :) I realize that there has been several bad reviews of the product, but it worked for me and my cousin. We both had really bad marks, now we don't. Try Bio-oil. I hope this product helps you as it helped me :) Good luck xo

When I was pregnant, I used baby oil gel every day, and I still got stretch marks. Loosing weight and creams help a little, but they will fade more with time.

The scars don't fade. the only thing that will get rid of stretch marks is plastic surgery. The lotions and oils help with the redness but they will always be there.

my sister's stretch marks faded some on their own after having my nephew. They faded even more when she started losing weight, but it depends on the woman and how much her skin stretched. You can try the lotions on the market and they might help. But of course it depends on your skin.

I actually used cocoa butter lotion and they faded the purplish look of the stretch marks pretty fast. But you could still see the silvery lines-those will never go away no matter what lotion or creme you use.Losing weight does not take them away either-they are permanent sadly enough.

Stretchmarks suck. There's really nothing you can do about them. They get lighter with time like a few people said but unless you get a tummy tuck to cut the skin right off they're always going to be there.

drink water, forget the rub on BS, it's a gimmick. stretch marks will go shiny white over time but they'll always be there.
