They must provide nutritional content to all who request. Some of them even list on the menu now.
And you can also go to any of their websites and check the nutritional content.
Peace.

If your cholesterol is high, just order plain hamburger. If there is cheese, the higher the cholesterol content & sodium content. The more the ingredients, the more the cholesterol content in it. Regular hamburger will be better than big mac or quarter pounder.
If you want softdrinks just take regular one instead of the large size.
Instead of the large fries, get the regular sized.
The more dressing there are the more the cholesterol content. You can take once in a while but not too often. For example you had a quarter pounder at lunch then have a light dinner.
Too much catsup can increase your sodium content. Too much sodium is avoided for hypertension.
If you eat pizza, just order a slice and a regular softdrinks. You can take diet if you want too.
If you eat too much, you have exercise later on to shed it off. Effective exercise should be at least 30 minutes duration, 3 x a week. It increases your good cholesterol or HDL. Choose an exercise in which you will enjoy and bring a friend or a member of the family with you. If you enjoy the company, you wont notice that 30 minutes is up.
Hypertension, diabetes & obesity are now global problems. It is usually hereditary! Hypercholesterolemia if not controlled can lead to heart attack and stroke.
These diseases are aggravated by eating the wrong food. Fastfoods usually are higher in sodium, cholesterol, uric acid.

Most fast food places offer good choices nowadays. Swing by the drive through windows and pick up their nutritional info while you are alone. Take them home with you and look over them before you go with friends. You don't have to memorize what is good and bad, just gain an understanding of what the nutritious foods have in common. For example, grilled instead of fried. Also, some fast food places offer free swapping of sides or toppings. At Wendy's you can forget the fries and get chili or a side salad instead. You have be careful about sauces, too. Mayo, cheese and fatty sauces can add as much fat as you would get eating a Big Mac. Safe choice...grilled chicken sandwich or salad. Ask for no sauce or lowfat dressing. Anyplace offers those choices. Plus, your friends won't think you are a geek because chicken is cool.

It's a real challenge to eat healthy at a fast food restaurant. You have to avoid certain items. The biggest offenders are the foods that are deep fried. Some places are still using Partially Hydrogenated Oil (trans-fat) to deep fry. McDonald's is the biggest offender. It's the biggest artery clogger in the history of eating. Every time that you heat a cooking oil, it breaks down releasing carcinogens (cancer causing agents) into the oil. Reheat it again and it breaks down further. Never re-use cooking oil at home. Places like McDonald's change the cooking oil about once a week. Should you eat there on the 7th day (you don't know when that is) your fried food has been cooked in a sea of cancer causing agents. Why has Breast Cancer become a virtual epidemic? No comment. The buns also contain trans-fat. So avoid anything that's deep fried or food that comes on a bun and you stand a chance of eating healthy. Good luck.

All fast food places are required to offer nutritional information when asked. Most places have a pamphlet that you can take with you. A lot of research has been done on this and you could easily find out about your fave food on the internet. But it will ruin it for you - none of them are good. Even some of the salads are really bad!

One thing you can do is ask for no mayo. Mayo is loaded with fat and calories. I love Burger King but I ask for a Whopper Jr. no mayo add mustard instead. The problem with fast food places is they make everything too big. If you go to Taco Bell get hard or soft tacos with no sour cream. The kids meal is usually pretty safe, get the apples instead of fries at McDonald's.

I would go on-line to their website to view the nutrition chart, this way you will already know before you go in what you want to order, and save yourself the embarrassment when you are with your friends.

I'm definately not crazy about diets, but when I don't have a nutrition chart, I pull out a Weight Watchers book and see how many "points" the food I'm selecting is....it may not have the calories but hey! Its weight watchers, they know EVERYTHING

Well choose water over the pop. Choose milk if its available, better for your bones and teeth.
Avoid all deep fried choices. (mcnuggets, fries, anything you know that comes out of the deep fryer) Say no to mayo on the food.

Avoid foods in which you know have creamy sauces (including salad dressings), mayonaise, lots of cheese. Also avoid foods that you know are fried! Grilled chicken sandwhiches, no mayo or sauce and/ or salads with low fat dressings are probably decent. I really like McDonald's fruit and nut dish.
