There are SEVEN tarsal bones: calcaneus; talus; navicular; cuboid; and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cuneiforms. There are 5 metatarsals. There are 14 phalanges.

Therefore, the total is 7 + 5 + 14 = 26.

Best wishes.

There are the tarsals which make up the back part of the foot, like the heel. There are 5 of them and they're called the calcaneous, talus, navicular, cuboid, and cuneiform. Then there are 5 metatarsals and 14 phalanges, which are all the sections of the toes. So, that makes 34 all together. 34x2feet=68 bones in both human feet.
