A lot of people seem to be commenting (here and there) that Richards doesn't seem genuine in his apology. My problem with that is, who has seen him being genuine before this? Who knows him personally, and has seen him in an element other than acting or doing comedy?
I think that perhaps, people are expecting to see Kramer being genuine, and not Michael Richards. So they feel they "know" what Richards is like genuine, because they've seen his character Kramer be serious on television.
Is he being genuine? I have no idea, I don't know what genuine Michael Richards is like. I only know what I've seen - and that's him doing comedy and acting.
But I sure do HOPE he's being genuine in his apology. I can't imagine anyone would want to be remembered for such an outburst, such hateful remarks. But I really don't know, and I don't think any of us can.
Time will tell, I suppose.

Oh, he should probably be racked and then chained to a wall in the men's room at Grand Central Station. We could put him on display, and charge a cover to use the can.
See, he is really evil. I am certain that he is the only human on this planet to throw a racisl epithet when angered. I mean, that has to mean that he is a racist, right? No one else has ever done it, and I am sure no one giving their opinion online has ever done it either. Black, or white.....we are human and anger does get the best of us.
That he used an epithet, does not make him a racist.
I am so sick of the hipocrisy. Let he without sin, cast the first stone.
If there is one person out there, who can honestly tell me that he/she has never, and I mean never said something very hurtful when angry, I just may change my mind.
You will have to be pretty convincing though; I no better!
Peace to all!!

He is no longer Kramer so stop calling him that. He had limited success on his own so he will be happy collecting millions from syndication now - not a bad deal....

i liked him in uhf... and translavania 65000....
he's ok... but... as usual no one gets what someone is saying and automatically gets offended just to be a coward so that's the way it goes.
