Interesting question. I'm leaning toward equating sunshine with happiness and thunder with ego.

With that in mind, I asked myself whether I could be egotistical about having loss my happiness. Not hardly. Then I asked myself whether I could still be happy if my ego were completely deflated. I think so.

So, to answer your question, I think that your stealing my happiness would be worse than your stealing my thunder.

So please don't take my sunshine away. Ha Ha. I think the previous sentence is part of a song entitled "I want to be happy."

What an interesting question. I think stealing someone's sunshine is worse because for a depressed person, or someone who is despairing, sunshine may be one of the things that gets them through, gives them hope that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Stealing someone's thunder has more to do with ego.

Stealing thunder is worse. Thunder is the person's power, what they are known for, why they are who they are. Sunshine is just someone's one moment in the spotlight. There can be more sunshine, but a person has to keep thier thunder.

Stealing itself is bad, whether sunshine or thunder! If u steal their sunshine, they wont have sunshine - it is very bad. If you steal their thunder, they wont know the meaning of sunshine - as they have nothing to compare. So one must have bothe sunshine and thunder - as life is full of dualities. So leave them alone. Worry about improving yourself. Try to give your snshine if you can.

Depends...most times stealing someone's sunshine is, but if that someone has a REALLY big ego, stealing their thunder is much worse.
