Usually back pain is not associated with pregnancy, but the throwing up ( also known as morning sickness ) could be. To help your friend out let him/her know that if she misses her period it could definitely be that she is pregnant and take a test. If the test proves positive see a doctor. She wouldn't be gaining a ton of weight in the first month. So that wouldn't really help to look for that. A missed period is an almost definite sign and so is morning sickness. Good luck!

Back pains aren't usually a sign this early in a pregnancy, but could be associated with something else. The throwing up could be, but that could also be associated with other things (even thinking you are pregnant can bring on morning sickness, it's all psychosymatic.) I'm 19 weeks preggo right now, and had morning sickness start at around 6 weeks pregnant. But when I thought I was pregnant last year, I had nausea that I thought was morning sickness...it was really nerves. Have her take a pregnancy test, but not all of these symptoms automatically that she is pregnant.

Tell her to get a first response home pregnancy test, follow all of the directions, including taking it in the morning, where her urine would have the most concentrated amount of the hgc hormone, which is only found in pregnancy!
If she is pregnant, then help her get a doctors appointment, and get started on prenatal care,vitamins,nutrition,..ect..
She might gain alittle weight, but the main weight gaining in pregnancy doesn't start till between the third month, and fourth month!
Support her, if she decides to keep the baby!

Well first she needs to take a test first so that you know for sure and so she can get the prenatal care as soon as she can. And some women gain a lot right away and some don't gain for awhile everyones different. Just take a deep breath and take one thing at a time.
Good Luck!!!

Yahoo answers is no substitute for a check up by a reputable doctor. Instead of posting questions like this one, go to a clinic and get your girl checked, if she is pregnant there is a little life waiting to be born and needs looking after.
Be responsible both of you, you wanted sex, there are the consequences. Now face them responsibly.

Awwww, you sound like a good guy. She's fortunate to have you ever. this is somewhat early for her to be having abdomen pains, inspite of the undeniable fact that it happens from time to time. i'm guessing it rather is purely because of the fact she's under pressure. If she is pregnant, i don't recognize what your adult men' residing issue may be like, inspite of the undeniable fact that it rather is possible to flow to college finished time and to have an entire time activity. (production facility jobs and jobs that require surely exertions many times pay extra useful than retail jobs.) If she works finished time besides, issues ought to be ok. it rather isn't any longer the final issue to be in, inspite of the undeniable fact that it rather isn't any longer something which will harm your lives. you will no longer have the flexibility to stay away from human beings from looking down on her. Society is purely crammed with human beings like that. human beings have been consistently checking my left hand to work out if i became married or no longer whilst i became pregnant. As for telling the mothers and fathers - purely muster up the braveness and tell them or write a word. (yet provided that SHE IS certainly PREGNANT.) they're going to probably yell and all that, yet they're going to recover from it. Like I mentioned, i in my view do no longer think of she is pregnant. sooner or later, purely confirm you adult men are extra careful. You adult men ought to probably get on a extra good style of delivery administration and likewise use condoms as a back up. Edit to function: i've got heard that the Plan B pill reasons nausea. If she's under pressure on correct of that, it may desire to be the place her abdomen pains are coming from.

She wouldn't really gain weight the first month. I didn't gain aything until like my 4th month. I didn't show until recenly and 'm 27 weeks. So probably a test would be good.

Why do YOU need help if it's your friend's girl? And yes she would gain weight. But her symptoms could be signs of something else such as an STD, a kidney infection...She needs to see a doctor.
