probably no blood since they took it last time. They will listen to the baby's heart beat, ask if you have any questions or concerns, take your blood pressure and weigh you.Thats really all they do at most appointments until you are farther along, then there are ultrasounds, fundal hight measurement, cervix checks and some more blood work. Most of that happens in your 3rd trimester.

At my 12 week visit (which was my first visit so it could be different) they did an ultrasound (to confirm the pregnancy) and I took a ton of blood tests. On my 16 week visit, I hardly did anything. They listened to the heartbeat then did one blood test for spina bifida and other genetic disorders that may be present. The appointment was pretty quick and there wasn't much to talk about. Next week I have my 20 week appointment and I will have an ultrasound to see the sex and to make sure everything is going ok. Oh, and you'll probably take a urine test when you get to the doctor's office, they do this every time (I forgot and went to the bathroom right before the appointment, I had to drink a huge glass of water and use the restroom at the end of the visit.)

should be a short visit...pee in a cup, check your BP.. answer any questions and send you on your way. IF you have any blood diorders, they may take more blood....but usually ou shoudlnt have any more tests until you 22 weeks...then you got thru diabetic testing, if you have negative blodd you will go for a WINRO (or aka rogam) shot....and if your hypo thyroid you will go for a test once a month to make sure your thyroid is at the right levels. this is my life !!!!

They shouldnt have to take any blood right now, it should be just a normal check up, unless the find something that they would like to investigate.

They will probably check your weigh, blood pressure, urine, and try to listen for the heartbeat, but don't be alarmed if they can not hear it yet sometimes they can that early and sometimes they can't it just depends. Good Luck

From here on thru. your OBGYN will just do pelvic exams (pap smear) ,check your breasts, and sonograms. That is unless there are complications.
