hello, I am getting married in vegas. I am having a wedding reception dinner at rainforest cafe at the mgm grand. Has anyone had a wedding reception dinner or brithday party dinner there? Or at any rainforest cafe? I just wanted an idea of things. Rainforest will decorate with linens for the tables and balloon bouqets.

The Rainforest has a jungle and rainforest theme with lots of animals and noises......Ive been there for birthday dinners and just plain dinners but weddings are a definite no. The linens are ok but balloons are so 1980's. Sorry if I am putting your wedding down, but a wedding is suppose to be romantic and the Rainforest Cafe comes nowhere close to this. Too much noise with the fake rain, jungle animals, and thunder.

We use to have a Rainforest Cafe where I live but it closed down, not sure why. I didn't realize they did wedding receptions but I guess it makes sense. I did attend a birthday party there once, I thought it was well managed, the food was wonderful and the staff very attentive. There was a festive mood about the place and everyone had a great time. Can't ask for better than that.

Down here....the Rainforest is basically for kids. That would be the last place I would want a wedding reception...unless there are going to be lots of kids there, and that's what you want.
