For me personally, my answer is also very STRAIGHT-forward and it's a NO!
However, I can't deny there are some guys and girls who can be true friends.
So it really depends on each of their characters. But always remember nothing is eternal, things may change one day and a boy & a girl may also end up as a couple.

I don't think so... I have said it before and I will say it again. I think at some point it always leads back around to sexual attraction maybe even more so because you connect on an emotional level, being there for each other through difficult times sometimes even things you do not talk to your hubby/wife about ... Which brings a deeper closeness than a normal friendship with the same sex...
There is always the possibility of physical contact from an innocent hug turning into more maybe because at the moment you are swept away with emotions...
Maybe it is just me, but I highly doubt you will be able to pull it off with out some sort of feelings evolving from it other than "just friends". It runs much DEEPER than that..........
Best wishes........

Of course they can, specially those ones from childhood, neighborhood, schools ... . I have had few too, but almost all those I considered just friends, they felt in love and wanted to be with me. But I did not want them that way, so, we have been always friends, even close ones. We met often (now I live far away from them), talked about almost everything, shared living stories, dined together, helped each other including money, travelled together, rode motorcycle, camped, slept over night just couple of yards of distance in the same room, went to beach ... Was a whole lot of fun ...

I beleive that they could, yet someplace alongside the line somebody, the two the male or the female, will capture some reliable thoughts and if the different individual would not experience a similar way, the friendship heavily isn't as reliable because it as quickly as exchange into. they're going to nonetheless be associates, although.

Absolutely! My very best friend for 20 years is a man. I've never even been remotely attracted to him. he feels the same about me. We're both married and our spouses aren't the least bit concerned about our friendship.
