Hi Beth,
I checked out your website. To be honest the only time I bought anything like what you sell is as an impulse buy at the fair. Any traffic you generate will be likely be on impluse rather than a planned destination. You might find some websites and see if you can barter... swapping products for advertising or advertising on your page for advertising on another page. There is plenty of space for you to put in a rotation of banner ads... take advantage of the webspace on your page. Places you might think of advertising are gaming websites for fantasy games, birdwatching websites, native american websites, and "country living" websites. Also there are 6 clear channel radio stations in Columbus... WBWR 105.7 (80's rock), WCOL 92.3 (Country), WLZT 93.3 (Adult Contemporary), WNCI 97.9 (Top 40), WTPG AM 1230 (Progressive Talk... aka liberals), and WTVN AM 610 (News/Talk). I bring up the radio stations, because you can get some fairly cheap advertising on their websites... not only can you get banner ads, you can also get key word ads included in their search engines. You might even consider purchasing a bunch of 5 second radio that run during the overnight... that is the cheapest you can get and that late night crowd is likely to be up late and ready for an impulse buy. Your 5 second ads can encourage listeners to go to the radio station website and type "gifts" in the search box and they will be directed directly to your website. Since those ads encourage web traffic you may be able to negotiate a price break, depending on how many spots you're willing to purchase. I would imagine the country station and the news talk would be the best bet for you based on the type of person who listens to them. Good luck to your business. Below is contact information for an ad salesperson you can contact with the country station:

Fast way is to research keywords about the subject of your site and get an adwords account with google . Then promote your site by buying keyword positions.
Slow way is to write articles about the subject of your site and submit them to article directories with backlinks to your site.
SEO your site also. Do a google search on SEO.
