Mainly, I'd say the best thing about being a Republican is that you can dispute any argument raised by the Democrats without having to have any actual facts to back you up. If you just tell the same lies or shout the same insults long enough, people will somehow believe you.

You don't have to feel guilty about lying or cheating. You can be as stupid as billy goat and still have a chance of reaching the highest political office. You can crap on the constitution, make a fortune from from graft, corruption, and war, and still have the moral high road high ground because it's in the interest of God and Country. I really hate being honest, but that's why I'm a Republican.

You can be proud of you're convictions instead of changing your opinions based on political correctness. It is pretty kool to be associated with the party that wants to save babies too. There are so many great things about being a Republican. We have great parties we aren't always worried if we used the correct words of the day. We are very diverse, everyone has their passion and we want to hear it.

Not a Thing... Todays Republicans AND Democrats, if measured by Harry S. Trumans political yardstick, would be considered card carrying Communists.....
And you never even noticed...

Well, you can go through life lying to yourself and believing that you're superior to Democrats. You'll be able to claim that you don't want to be dependent on government entitlements, yet you'll take all the tax breaks you can get; you'll find ways to get government grants that can expand your business; you'll make sure you get every tax deduction available to you (just another way of relying on the government); and - when you're ready to retire with millions in the bank, you'll STILL feel you're entitled to a monthly Social Security check just because you "paid into it" all those years. And you'll actually live this hypocritical life while sleeping at night! -RKO-

Well, for one, you're not a liberal.
But mostly, it's the confidence that you will spend your life knowing that you can succeed brilliantly at anything you want, with hard work and an open mind. Without depending on some government to do it for me.

If you are a Republican:
you get to hate liberals
you get to hate homosexuals
you get to hate poor people
you get to hate mothers who have lost their sons in Iraq
you get to hate the people of Iraq
you get to hate anyone who disagrees with Bush
you get to hate anyone who disagrees with you
In short, you get to hate. Doesn't sound like a party I would want any of my loved ones to belong to.

Knowing that when your leadership makes a campaign promise that it has a pretty good chance of happening *ahem* Iraq. Dont you dare tell me you really believed them when they said that they would pull US troops out of Iraq even with a completely Democratic congress. Dont get mad at them get mad at yourself for being so easily decieved.
