Start by taking a realistic practice test - you can take a free one at your local Kaplan center. Try BOTH the SAT and the ACT. Then, if you need it, get some help by taking a class, or even private tutoring.
Above all, make sure that the classes you take provide all 3 aspects of test prep - context (aka math/grammar review), critical thinking(i.e. methods, shortcuts, and techniques), and crisis prevention(knowledge of the test and time management).

good luck!

it extremely is a surprisingly stable score, yet i could propose retaking it lower back in October in case you think of you're able to do extra suitable. I have been given a 2130 on my SAT, and that i not often had the optimum score at my college lol. i don't be attentive to in case you studied for it this time, yet in case you haven't any longer, you are able to surely carry your scores up plenty. you may attempt to hold math as much as a minimum of a 600 (that's certainly manageable), and attempt to advance on the different sections besides. Writing is the least confusing section to advance on, so in case you learn, you are able to truly get into the mid 700s. I went from a 590 in writing the 1st time (without examining) I took the SAT, to a 720 the final time (with examining). So surely supply it a circulate. commonplace, you have a stable score. As some others have pronounced, the standard SAT score if approximately a 1500, so because it extremely is decently above usual. yet i could propose examining over the summer season and elevating your score. SAT scores do carry a great weight in college admissions, so which you choose for to get them as extreme as you likely can. stable success!

Congratulations! Most students who want to do the best on their SAT's take the SAT study classes.......or pre-SAT courses.......my niece and nephew have taken the courses. You should have them available in your area......most kids attend the classes on Saturdays.

Try your best on the tests. Also, review your past school assignments.
