i am putting the a/c & heat back in my 69 charger... i think that a have all the parts but what else would i need the get it to work?

You do realize that the A/C and heating systems are completely separated systems, right? Each is closed from each other. The elements that make up each are totally different and independent of one another.

By the way, don't listen to Jeff. A/C's have individual specifications for oil and refrigerant amounts, pressures and types. Hell, R-134 wasn't even available in 1969.

You haven't listed what you already have. The best way to do this, is to get a parts list together, starting with the Dodge parts manuals.

Some things you will need, are the compressor with clutch, a/c belt, brackets to mount it, heater core, and so on.

Well, if you have all of the parts, you will need to assemble, vaccum the system, put in 1 oz of line conditioner, 2-3 oz of ester oil, and around 20 oz of R-134. Good luck.

Nothing if you have all the parts.That system used R-12 for refrigerant
