i don't go to Harvard, my best friend does, i applied to several other ivy league schools out of high school and was accepted, but i choose to stay at my state school because it has a very strong, respected engineering program. to get into harvard, you need a strong personal statement, excellent resume, good interviewing skills, and good test scores. your personal statement and interview are your chance to show that you have something that sets you apart from the crowds of other 4.0, student council presidents, varsity everything, perfect test score, susie high school kids that are applying with the same resume as you.
yes, you will have to pay money, that is a ridiculous question. you have to pay some money anywhere you go to college, even if you have a full-ride scholarship you're going to end up paying some money...
more and more it feels like your undergrad degree isn't as important as your graduate degree, so it doesn't always necessarily matter where you go. you are basically learning the same core classes at any university for the first two years anyway. of course it is harvard so the price you pay for the name can make a difference, but in the end out in the job market it is up to you to use the education you get to be successful.

As many apply, it is difficult to get in without excellent credentials. If you are having trouble understanding their website, you probably don't have the skill set needed to gain admission to Harvard.

Most US universities require a fee to be paid with your submitted application. Fees are listed on their website.

Does it matter which university you attend? Yes and no....it depends what you wish to do as a career.

In order to go to Harvard, you are not allowed to write "2" instead of "to", or "u" instead of "you." They definitely frown on that.
You have to pay money.
You should go to the best university you can get into.
