Miami is kinda expensive to live in, and has alottt of traffic. Maybe London would be a nice place. I would say just go with the better job offer, as far as hours and salary.

I have never lived in London but have visited it often when going to the UK for my graduate and postgraduate qualifications. I have seen London 20 years ago and just recently 3 years ago. I loved London for its history, culture and multiethnicity. There is a glow of hospitality and warmth amongst the people there. Its vibrant and exciting and there is much to see and experience.
However, 3 years ago, I sense a change... things are more expensive and the people seems more remote and unfriendly..the traffic is worse and commuters are always in a rush and even hostile it seems. So, I do not feel the attraction and endearment that I have had twenty years ago....
I lived in Miami for 2 years and had remained in this country since and now I planned to return to Florida.
Its warmer and sunnier than cold and gloomy London.
It is also very cosmopolitan , although you will need Spanish to get around. The cost of living is I suspect lower than London.
The people are warm and generous too. The summers can be cruel to those not acustomed to the tropics. Miami is the gateway to many attractions and lifestyles in Florida and working in Miami may give you the opportunity to reside permanently in the USA... a tremendous chance...
The downside is the shady side of crime and vice and like any metropolitan cities in the USA you have to exercise caution and paranoia .There is also not as available a plethora of concerts, plays, museums and restaurants and other attractions as you will find in London. The people in Miami can be ruder and more aggresive than Londoners.Traffic is as bad if not worse... and although Miami has a better than most USA cities for its public transport, it still does not compare to the London underground..
But my final analysis, America is a land of opportunity and diversity, and I would strongly recommend that you work in Miami, if all other things are equal..

I spent 6 years in Miami and 6 years in London as my parent s job involved traveling. I can tell you that personally I would rather live in Miami. Obviously this question is extremely opinionated and I believe there are many people that would be happier living in london rather than Miami, however the life style you have in Miami is much more comfortable than London. Yet to be the devil s advocate I have to say London is more cultured and interesting. Miami has obviously better weather and more bang for your buck. Miami versus London is really an argument or rural versus urban but both ways their good cities.

It would depend on the salary. It is very expensive to live in London but Miami is not. That does not mean it's cheap, but it is very reasonable.
The weather is great, you can always find something to do that is free or inexpensive. The night life is excellent, as are the restaurants and cultural opportunities.
I love England but if all things are equal, I would choose Miami- By the way, you can live in any of the South Florida cities and commute to Miami. The beach areas just to the north of Miami are Worth considering. Aventura is the best.

Miami is among the most popular vacation spots and with hotelbye you will find out more. Miami has anything for everyone; from the modern nightlife of South Beach, bejeweled by the eye candy of the Art Deco district around the bustle of Calle Ocho and the highly caffeinated power of Small Havana. The Art Deco District brings right back memories of an early on amount of time in Florida with its beautifully repaired 1930s Art Deco buildings and is a place well visited just like Bayside Marketplace. That place is a large outdoor type mall with more than 150 niche and tourist stores, numerous cafes and restaurants, and day-to-day stay entertainment.

I can only give my personal preference. London is a global center, a metropolitan city with a lot to offer outside of your worklife. The museums, nightlife, cultural events and pace are staggering. As it is in any major capitol city, there are crowds and traffic.
Miami, while a large city, is not in the same category as London in my opinion. It is huge, but sprawling and when driving from Broward to Dade county, if you aren't familiar with the area, it just blends from one shopping mall/strip center to the next. It does have a lot to offer in nightlife, cultural events and things to do when not working.
My personal choice would be London. Yes, Miami is sunny but the overall "feel" of Miami is one of impatient anger in my experience. While a big city attitude is to be expected, I found London to be a beautiful city with rich history, vastly varied cultural differences and something exciting to offer every day.
Just my 2 cents...London.

If for convienience is what your asking about any where you live is convienient to live at. But about Surviving well if you like longggggg. hot muggie, mosquito biting, homeless, fighting, music blasting night, hawks parading, teenage drunk driving fatalities. Then Miami is for you .But if you want to go forth in life and be a person of means, with a tile to match, Then London, is where you should look at..

London is more convenient, people are used to walking and shopping in a metro area. (I love London), but do the math, find out the living expenses vs. the pay then make your choice.
Tan? Or NO TAN? If you hit that button, you have a tan... LOL

If those are your two choices, then Miami is more convenient. You'll be able to get a concealed weapons permit. Gun laws in UK are more restrictive.
