Do not scratch your tummy when it itches and it will itch. I was able to avoid stretch marks with four children because I have always used baby oil on my entire body before I step out of the shower. It was a habit I got into when I was a teenager because I always had dry skin and it made me feel pretty and soft. I won't take a shower if I am out of baby oil. It is a lot cheaper than all of those butter creams and what have you. Get into the habit and keep doing it the rest of your life. It does help. You know, your undying love for your baby makes your stretch marks go away when you see the beautiful little person you sacrificed your ironing board stomach for.

Stretch marks are genetic, well the elasticity of your skin is genetic and that's what leads to stretch marks. If your mom had them you are most likely going to have them. If you keep your skin moisturized you are less likely to get them because your skin is more elastic. Don't scratch your belly if it itches, rub lotion on it when it itches instead of scratching. No matter what miracle cream you buy, if you are prone to stretch marks you are going to get them. Coca butter lotion with Shea butter is the best to use, try Palmer's creams, lotions, and oils they are the best in my opinion(you can buy them at Walmart for $5 and under). They will be very bright red, even purple when you first get them, but they will fade to a transparent, skin color. You can buy some Mederma scar cream to use after you deliver. This does help them to fade more if used according to the directions.

Well that's a good question because I had the same questions when I was pregnant. But I can give you the same advice that was given to me when I was pregnant not that it worked for me, but it may work for you every woman is different. You can try "MOTHER FRIEND" "COCOA BUTTER" "ALOE VERA LOTION" "SHEA BUTTER" "PALMERS STRETCH MARK CREAM" "VASELINE" or just wear "PANTYHOSE" like the old folk say it keeps the skin together that way it want flop around and have room to tare.

Theres no 100% guarantee as it depends on your skins elasticity, however if you use bio-oil at least 3 times a day on your belly and hips you will find this stuff works like a dream, at worst you may only get a few light ones but continue using it after pregnancy. The key is maintaining lots of moisture in your skin! also try palmers cocoa butter its a bit cheaper and its great!

Apply moisturizer all the time! Doesn't matter what kind (something with vitamin E is good) I was constantly putting cream on my belly and have only a few s.marks which you can harldy even see.

You can use lotions or cremes with vitamin E to enhance your skin's ability to stretch. However.. there is no way to prevent them... you will either get them or not- it's a matter of genetics (did your mom have them) and the amount of weight you put on and how your body handles that.

Shea butter is the best. Apply daily and sometimes twice a day or more. Wonderful product.

And NEVER receive bad reports from people.
