and I not asking about the men who directly use it towards others, but men who use profanity when explaining things.

I find it boring and an indication of limited use of vocabulary and intelligence. Also a lack of courtesy toward others.

I hate it when I guy just can't stop swearing, that out of ten words 8 are bad words and the other two just some verbs or whatever. The way you talk to others or even just talking without addressing a specific person it tells people about you, how formal you are how serious about things you are and even how polite and educated you are also it says how respectful you are of others, language is a way to show your respect

I really don't like profanity but I think if a person uses profanity they just don't have anything smart to say. I almost never use profanity except for when I'm angry; I use at least one bad word.

I usually don't mind, but I do mind when a dude likes to curse women only and use b, c or other curse words... I don't usually care about swearing as long as it's even.

And I have called women b or c words too if I felt they deserved it but... I don't make a habit of it! And I only did it a few times.

So in general, it doesn't bother me... and I work with lawyers and judges and they curse a lot so maybe I'm sorta used to it.

It doesnt really bother me in a regular social situation as long as when they slip the profane word in, it flows. What bothers me is when my bosses use profane words to explain things. I've noticed that they often do it to seem closer to their employees but it just seems really inappropriate.

these men are usually not the gentlemen of the society. that is for sure. i had an ex bf who peppered profanities in everything. and worst, in a fight. it is as if it accentuates that moment or something- make himself appear cool. truth is, i am thrown off all the time. thank goodness i am rid of him.

we are in a position to basically study from the previous. something alongside the lines of payback is a waste of time that should be greater valuable spent on only shifting forward. The regulation is predicated upon the theory of previous circumstances and regulations. bringing up those circumstances is elementary, not with a view to harp or solid vengence, yet to lower back up a ingredient to regulation. that's only how the judicial equipment works. "Stare Decisis" = to stand on what has been desperate. it is the muse and pulse of English ordinary regulation and American regulation.

I admit to having a cussing problem...I tried cussers anon. but I only got to step six before saying **** this ****!!!! Anyway, there is a time and a place, sometimes they make for a good modifier...sometimes they are just really bad to use, especially with your lover, and of course some words you just dont say around women unless you want your testes damaged beyond repair. But I can respect a woman who despises it, but if a guy can't control it around his woman, then that is a problem.

Same way I feel about women who swear constantly. I don't see why there's a gender issue here.

No matter who uses it, my opinion's the same: It's crass and belies poor education, upbringing, and probable emotional problems and difficulties relating to other people.

They are just trying to sound tough.

It's sad because I always think they must feel very weak in themselves to have to talk like that.

Even more hilarious is when they talk with a 'gruff-full-metal-jacket' voice whilst swearing.
