If Europeans had just wiped out all of the indians (natives/aboriginals of North and South America) and taken over Africa and did what was best for them and not everyone else aswell, they had the ability to do it, but didn't. What significant differences would we see in the world today?

Please note this is not meant to be racist by any means, I'm not saying that it would be better, or that it wouldn't be, I'd just like to hear some opinions on what ppl. believe the world would be like today (for better or worse)

I understand the aboriginals for example would have been better off had Europeans noyt met them, and just left them alone...however on the other hand after learning their secrets to survive the europeans could have easily killed the aboriginal races which would of been a far worse conclusion than drastically changing their way of life, no?

The lesser of two evils? True. But thats the truth, the natives didn't get to decide the course of actions the Europeans took, but the Europeans did, and the worst case scenario would of been totally wiping out their race, so yes they can count themselves lucky that they wren't slaughtered.

Here's an example, if I get kidnapped and held has a hostage by the worlds most lethal person, if i get out of the situation with only a broken arm I can count myself extremely lucky, even though if it was up to me I'd never of been kidnapped in the first place.

Broken arm or shot? Lesser of two evils...of course its not the same but on an individual level the basic premises is the same.

The Eurpeans wouldnt have liked to undergo hardships in tropical parts of arfica. They are from milder climates, and they can not bear to work hard in trpoics. So they didnt conquer entire africa. If they had managed to do so, the entire world would be full of whites and yellows. And perhaps all the natives of africa would be working all over the word.

In fact, they pretty much gave wiping out their best shot anyway.
I'm not at all sure the world is a better place because Europeans decided they were superior beings and anyone in their way needed to be enslaved or disposed of.

By whose standards would it be decided what was "best" for any given group of people? A frightening number of native peoples were forcibly torn from their families, stripped of their culture and "assimilated" because the crusading invaders decided it was "best" and "for their own good". Many still suffer as a result.

Maybe we should just ask what the world would be like if Hitler had succeeded.

Personally, I think the world would be better if the indigenous inhabitants and their cultures had been respected, and left alone. There is much we could have learned about preserving resources, among other things.

You're asking us to choose between the lesser of two evils.
Native peoples should be grateful their ancestors weren't slaughtered en masse ? Jeez.... I don't think so.

It would be miserable, and there would be oompah-pah music and bland food everywhere.
