Pro Evolution Soccer is the same as Winning Eleven, beside that PES came out only in PS2, but WE has PS1 version. In addition, WE has Japanese version, and it has more series than PES. For example, WE has J-League, and PES do not.

Pro Evo wins all the time, FIFA is for people who want easy gameplay over realism. I have just got Winning Eleven 10 (Pro 6) and it's the game Pro 5 should have been, no stupid niggly fouls, quick start free kicks, harder to score. Overall this is a great game, if you liked Pro 5 get Pro 6 when it comes out in England in October or get it off the net and get the patch that turns it into English and play now. You won't be disappointed FIFA hide away in shame now.
