Probably not.......I saw David Letterman last nite and Jerry Seinfeld was on....he asked Dave if Michael Richards can come on the show to apologize and make a statement......so that's exactly what happened.....his words really sounded heartfelt and you could tell that he felt terrible.....mind you there is no excuse for what he did......but he did apologize to everyone on national tv and he also said that he needed help and will get it.
He career is over for now....but will probably be back.

I think it's a double standard due to the fact that rappers say the "N" word (No I don't use it!!) every other word!! And you hear all these little hip hop clowns refer to themselves as it again every other word...I have no problem with the fact that he snapped and called them something they probably refered to themselves as all day long anyway....It was the comment that precipitated it

"If it was 50 years ago you'd be hanging upside down with a fork in your a*s" That blew my mind...

Something like that just doesn't roll off your tongue unless you've thought about it before..That was unbelievably offensive and crossed every there was to cross in my mind!! The dudes career has been dead for years. So I can't even say he buried himself with that comment...But he sure let people know where his mind lies..He's racist no if's ands or buts about it.

It sounds like he was having some kind of breakdown. And I also thought he sounded sincerely sorry for what he said. I don't think his career is over , I just think it will take a backseat for awhile.
Unfortunately the nature of Showbusiness seems to produce alot of this kind of behaviour in stars , think of those who have overdosed at a young age , or became druggies with permenant brain damage . ...it seems a high cost to pay to be in the limelight...
He just seemed not to be himself last night..I'm sure he will be forgiven, he deserves a second chance.......

I say who gives a f*** I don't and I personally could care less what he says he is a funny guy and everyone needs to lay off, he said things that are running through most of the populations heads from both sides white and black so in my opinion if the man has balls to say it to someones face instead of behind doors, right on!

Richards' little spaz was just a publicity stunt. He saw how much media attention Mel Gibson got for his drunken racist comments, and mimicked it to get back in the public eye.

i dont think hes done, but i think he will have very harsh criticism for awhile. we all have a little racism in us . where its just stereotyping. it all depends where you display it. he picked the wrong place and time. he will have to pay for his actions awhile. i pray that everything works out for him and his apology was sincere. i loved him on seinfeld.

I would think so, but I doubt it. People will just forget and just write it off like usual. I was never a big fan of his anyway when he was on Seinfeld.

His pathetic career has been over since Seinfeld. That's why he went crazy, it became abundantly clear---while he was onstage!
