And why do women pluck out there eyebrows and then paint them back in???

This depends on your own personal style, and the shape of your face, and your hairstyle. If you have a tiny face, thinner is more flattering. If you have close set eyes, pluck a few extra from between your brows, which makes them look more evenly spaced. If wide set, leave a few extra between, and pluck a few from the ends, to have the reverse effect.
Go to a top-of the line expert on brows, and have them professionally styled. Then pluck and tweeze to keep the same shape. You may need to return to that expert a few times a year, but trust me...if you have wrecked eyebrows, you will understand the worth!!! If you see someone with GREAT eyebrows, ask them who styles them. You will know they are good, when they discuss it with you, and measure around the eyes, and trim with scissors and take a good twenty minutes shaping them. In the six years I have been doing this job, Ihave never had a complaint.

Hi, the most beautiful eyebrows are actually natural. If you will pluck under your arch it will look a whole lot better. To accent the eyebrow try applying a white eyeshadow under the arch, but remember don't get carried away.

Different eyebrows look different on different features. For example people with tiny features would match a thinner and more defined eyebrows and people with larger features may match thicker eyebrows. Also the shape of it counts to, but im not really sure of how this works, I just shape mine and twieze the extra hairs.

oh im sooo happy you put this here! there are soooo many girl out there that have gone tweezer happy, thinner is not better, it shapes your face in an unattractive manner! the problem is that girls have been doing it for so long and seeing it in the mirror everyday that they dont even notice that it needs to be fixed...
i know i know....growing them out is the worst, but its soo well worth it....
you dont want some bushy brows by any means, i know that, but all you need to do is spruce them up and get all the random ones and help define your eyebrows, not alter them, whatever arch you have is the best and most perfect for your face, thats why god placed it that way!
iv seen soo many girls take the plunge and see what it wuld be like to grow them back our after so long and it was a complete transformation they looked so beautiful........good luck girls!

ok this is for all the people who have stated that they dislike drawn on eyebrows.
I have drawn on eyebrows and i like it that way. I'm goth and i do like natural eyebrows also but to me make-up is an art and my face is the palette so for me its good to have no hair on my face / body at all.
I do understand that some drawn on eyebrows look ridiculous but i assure you that many people that draw them on know what they are doing and do an excellent job. But since you people don't look up goth beauty sites you wouldn't know this.
I don't like eyebrows that are to thick, for it looks foul. Too thin looks foul also... They need to have body an arch if you will.

Sure the arch will look on nice some people . but remember everyone has different face shapes . but if you go into the salon ask them to do something natural but getting rid of the hair . they will know what to do.

the classic brow is the best...theyre not too thin and the arch lines up with the outer edge of the iris. the inner edge of the brow lines up with the inner corner of the eye. to see where the outer edge is supposed to be u hafta get a long pencil or stick of some sort and line it up with the outside of ur nostril and the outer corner of your eye. im not sure if it makes sense but i hope it works...

I think just a very small, very slight arch looks best. If it's too much, they either look like they're always surprised, like they're planning something devious, or like they're very cynical. Plus, they shouldn't be too thin, because then they don't balance out the face, and they tend to look fake.

Thick and thin eye brow for women. Thicker eyebrow for men.
