Everyone knows that it's called "jewelry." Why does it have to have a nickname? "Bling?" "Ice?" I mean, I think it's dumb to invent words like that and expect it to be known throughout the world as a valid English word inside of the Webster-Mirriam Dictionary from 1999.

i also think its dumb cuz jewelry is supposed to bring out happy thoughts and not "wow he bought me bling!"
it should be "Omg he bought jewelry for me?!"

Bling because when it shines in the sun it "blings" in your eyes. Ice because its sparkly and shiny like ice can be.

But honestly, it's more of a black person word....they have to come up with their own "slang." It can be annoying, but it's always gonna happen.

Later, I gotta bounce!

Jk haha.

Because black people are trying to show they're not under our control anymore. And that they don't have to do what we do and say what we say.
