how do u write a reference letter??

my boyfriend is starting a new job with autistic children, and he needs reference letters. i told him i would write one but i have no idea wat 2 write. he told me it should include how nice he is and blah blah blah...but i honestly have no idea wat 2 write or how it should sound....like wat format or how the layout should look. any and all help is wanted...thanks

Go to Microsoft website and search for templates. There are reference letter templates there available. Also if you google job reference letter samples, you'll find tons of resources.

If I were his potential employer, a letter from you would not qualify as a personal reference - too biased. It should come from a former teacher, former employer or an adult neighbor.
