As a HUGE Jack Black fan I was very disappointed. The plot and storyline sucked and there were very few (if any) laughs. But I guess you can't win them all.

I'm a huge Jack Black fan but this movie didn't do it for me. The only part that was funny was when the priests/monks were farting from the beans they eat. And... when he flexed his butt cheeks displaying his recreational clothes.

I agree with the person above me. I adore Jack Black, one of the biggest Tenacious D fans... but this movie just wasn't that good...

I think parts of it were funny, and I thought it was nice that he did so much for the orphans, but other then that it wasn't all that.

i cant believe we paid money to get in and i have both of my boys with me and one of their friends and of course my hubby so i paid alot to get it and i sat and waited.....and waited......and waited....... and waited......for the movie to get funny, cuz i just knew there had to be a funny part in there with jack black, and it never got funny what a waste of a perfectly good saturday and what a waste of money on this movie this money should have just been given to me and i woulda went shopping and had fun with it instead of wasting it on this crap hole of a movie

i have. it was okay. there were some funny parts, but you also waited for them to come along. it wasn't jack black's best in my opinion. mediocre...
