I mean, when we talk about christmas what we think about is snow,cold.other striking feature are the autumn at the end of the year,spring and summer in the middle of the year..why?? the sourthen hemisphere is almost never considered..they dont even have a good satelite relays.

Christmas in winter and fall leaves before it are indicative of seeing the world from a European/North American perspective. The associations elsewhere are different. It's not a lag, but rather just different climate & culture.

As for satellite coverage, the northern hemisphere is more highly populated and is where most of the spacefaring nations are so that's natural.
