It is very insulting! A few years ago little dogs were the in- thing, then having babies were the in- thing,
Now its adopting foreign babies and carrying them around like little dogs
The latest in-thing

Can't say that I agree 100% on your opinion. I think Angelina Jolie actually wanted to reach out and help the children she adopted and also she is an advocate for all the children who aren't getting adopted. Did you know that she donates 1/3 of her salary to charities? I think some celebrities now are doing it because they think it's good for there image, but I do agree to some extent that we need to help our own orphans too. I don't think it's a minority issue at all until people make it one, who cares what color, race, ethnicity these kids are they need homes and love just like anyone else.

Sure seems that way, doesn't it? I think they mean well, but they're mostly doing it to feel better about themselves. They feel guilty about the insane amount of money they make and think this behavior makes up for it.

It's a nice gesture, but it does nothing to help the situation. It would be better if they used all that money to help those countries get out from under tyrannical rulers so the people could prosper in a free enterprise system. Since most of the celebrities believe in socialism, it's unlikely they would really help in that way.

Too bad, eh?

AHAHAHAAAA.lmao. wow, i never thought of that. I wouldnt think so. I wouldnt be offended if i were from a minority anyways. I mean, celebrities are raising the awareness that children from poor exotic places need to be adopted. But that isnt the point, theyre adopting childeren and giving them a good life. Wheres the harm in that?

Only Madonna. Angelina always try to adopt her children privately and as I recall, she was upset that her dad Jon Voight leaked out to the press when she was adopting Maddox. Meg Ryan along with Angelina, I feel were not adopting as a publicity stunt because they both tried to keep their adoptions private.

Oh wow...very good question! Yes, I believe they do that. And I don't like it either. If they want to make a difference in those poor countries...let them move there and take care of those people. There are plenty of poor kids in THIS country that need adopting. Shame on anyone that goes outsdie the U.S. to adopt. And why must everyone adopt babies???

Well for me I just don't understand why they don't adopt children in there own country...they have the same children with the same problems ...they all need homes...why go out of there own country to do it....fix home before you go out your back door i say...I don't think they parade them around thow....

It varies from each celebrity. In my opinion, Madonna is a scam. She is using that African-child to her advantage. She knows she is getting old and that her years of fame is coming to a end.

not really, it just shows how far people will go to get a child. they make it pretty cumbersome in the US to get a kid. and maybe the celebrity feels that they are doing more by adopting someone with literally no resources. it doesnt offend me at all i think its sweet. :)

All I know is that kid who was adopted by Madonna hit the jackpot. Can you imagine the great life he is going to have compared to what he would of had. Shame on the people who tried to stop that adoption.
