can anyone tell me if the motorola A1200 works in the Republic of Ireland?

I would like to buy one on ebay but am afraid it won't work here!

Check whether the model is GSM.GSM model requires only GSM sim card from your area.Contact GSM cellular service provider in your area.But the CDMA model is unlikely to work.GSM models work through out the world.

yes it works for most network (may not with 3G), enjoy
