Yes, of course. Many are. The trick is to concentrate on what you do well, do one thing very well, and then the fact that you're not good at other things won't matter. The classic example is an artist or performer, but really, any field in which you can do very well -- achieve excellence, if not perfection -- is fine for an ordinary intellect.
Then there's persistence: if you do something well, you can do a really remarkable project by simply keeping at it. A truly beautiful quilt is just as "easy" to make as a ho-hum boring one, if you take the time to choose your pattern and fabrics carefully, be meticulous in method, and willing to rip out what doesn't work and re-do it. It doesn't really matter how long it took you to do it when they gaze at it and its blue ribbons at the County Fair!
Then there's luck. A person of normal intelligence might just happen to be in the right place at the right time, or buy the right lottery ticket, or otherwise just dumb luck. A factor not to be dismissed!

I heard EQ matters alot more. besides once you get too smart, it all goes to crap, you get over stimulated, get anxiety, turn to weed, and your so bored you can't pay attention. Your logic goes out the window. You get a big head, and think you could be President, your ego is bigger than your IQ at that point, and everyone hates you. You spend your life with your mind filled with stupid details, and stupid facts, and trivia crap. Your sense of humor is nonexistant, because your so freakin serious, your prone to bi-polar, and other mental problems, OCD, you can't have a DECENT relationship, because you can't resisist the urge to manipulate, and control. wow I sound like I know what I am talking about, LOL

We are all Somebody! Success is not defined by money or intelligence.
I have a great life, happy marriage, a career, and no complaints.
And I grew up on the streets, in foster homes, and children homes.

As attributed to President Truman, the world is run by "C" students. What seems to matters is drive and determination to see a vision through. Average intelligence is a requirement, but superior intellect is not always a guarantee.

Absolutely. And not just financially, either...IQ doesn't actually mean a whole lot.

Not unless your a very pretty person. You can be dumb as a stump if your pretty, and smart as they come and be ugly and end up a complete failure.
