On the path to creating an animated intro, I have been on something I call a "Cartoonist Block." I can make the background for the animation but to actually add people to match the background is difficult! If there are any, and I mean any, experts that can give this newbie a clue, that would be most apreciated.

go to lynda.com they have huge archive of in depth program tutorials broken up by section. they are fabulous. I've been working on the flash tutorials. all access for 25$/per month i think it's a steal

It might really help you on what you seek.
