If it were just a regular day,one of the monarch's knights or a high ranking servant was assigned to carry the purse with money for daily purchases .
Things like the scepter,mace and crown were worn for state functions. Otherwise,they were stored under heavy guard. The reining monarch would wear the royal seal on their finger to approve any memos or royal decrees.
If the monarch was male,he might carry a ceremonial dagger,but he/she always had a personal bodyguard with them as well,so no need for the sword.(Unless a state function as well).

wow, that's a loaded question as there are several differing locations that had kings and they carried different things to state their royalty.
Generally speaking all leaders had better items and equipment.
better clothing...cleaner/prettier/ detailed or even ritualistic in style
crowns of some sort or another for show and impress
septer and orb for ceremony
family jewels
family crest
heraldry of house
jewelry to show status and wealth
fortifications of some sort for defense and offence
sword as all gentlemen of virtue had a weapon to use for battle and status
religious items
followers as all leaders lead more than one person, otherwise they just a dominator

For European kings: sceptre, sword, drumstick (think Henry VIII eating poultry), mace, coat with ermine trim, breastplate, tunic (with coat of arms or some kind of cross), rings (even earrings), plumes, and a crown.
